The continuation of my last manga haul. The post became too long for just one post so here is the manga that has continuing volumes of what I already has the first volume/s of. (you find pt. 1 here)
Gangsta. vol. 2
I bought vol 1 and loved it, thus I bought vol 2. I’ll buy the rest of the volumes when i can afford them.
In the city of Ergastulum, a shady ville filled with made men and petty thieves, whores on the make and cops on the take, there are some deeds too dirty for even its jaded inhabitants to touch. Enter the “Handymen,” Nic and Worick, who take care of the jobs no one else will handle. Until the day when a cop they know on the force requests their help in taking down a new gang muscling in on the territory of a top Mafia family. It seems like business (and mayhem) as usual, but the Handymen are about to find that this job is a lot more than they bargained for.
Of the Red, the Light and the Ayakashi vol. 8-10
Completion of a really good series. I bought and read the other volumes a while back and then I did a pause because other manga came in between but now I felt like it was about time to finish it.
A dream filled with red camellia and the passing of a strange mask… The owner of this mask is a boy named Yue who lives in a temple populated with unusual – and not altogether human – residents.
It’s winter, and the nearby town, Utsuwa, is holding a seasonal festival. Kurogitsune, Yue’s fox spirit friend, decides it’s the perfect opportunity for the sheltered young man to experience the sights, sounds, and (most of all!) the food in the outside world. Even though Yue is forbidden from ever leaving the temple, they sneak into town, not realising what they’ve set into motion.
Graineliers vol. 2
I’m not sure what to say about this buy. I bought the first volume but I still haven’t read it. I do love the mangaka and the story intrigues me, and I am a little bit of a person who can’t have series unfinished. Graineliers is an ongoing series with three volumes so far with two translated to date. I’m pretty sure I will continue to buy it.
In this world, there are certain individuals known as “graineliers” who produce “seeds” that conceal various powers. The story follows a boy named Lucas who has the power of these seeds at his disposal.
Bloody Mary vol. 7-10
Another one I wanted to complete. I haven’t read this either but one day. I like vampires and the mc’s are cute. That’s a good reason for buying a whole series, right.
Set in Yokohama, this is the story of a vampire with a death wish and a priest with a “survival wish.”
After hundreds of years, Mary – an immortal vampire who wants nothing more than to go to his final rest in peace – manages to discover the whereabouts of Maria, a legendary exorcist who has “Maria’s Blood,” which can be used to kill immortals, running through his veins.
However, this particular Maria is merely a descendent, and is himself clueless about vampire hunting. Despite that, having inherited Maria’s Blood means he’s constantly being targeted by vampires. Mary thus makes a deal with Maria: in exchange for Maria’s discovering a way to kill him, he will protect him from those who are after his life.
Ten Count vol. 6
Last volume in the series. Another completion. I have to re-read the first five volumes because I have to be honest, they are a bit of a blur at the moment. The hotness and mess is strong with this manga. (yes, it’s BL before anyone asks)
When the President got into an accident, Shirotani Tadaomi met Kurose. On their very first meeting, Kurose could tell right away that Shirotani is Mysophobic and said that it’s pretty bad while suggesting it would be better to consult a doctor about it. Shirotani was left perturbed by the encounter. Who is Kurose? And how was he able to tell Shirotani’s condition?
The World’s Greatest First Love vol. 11
What should I say about this? I will never, ever be tired of the boys at the editorial department at Emerald. Boys kissing boys and all that.
Onodera Ritsu quits his job and transfers to the publishing company Marukawa Shoten. Sadly, he gets assigned to the editing department that handles shoujo manga; and Ritsu, who vowed to never fall in love again, working on love stories is impossible. Panic ensues when he realises that the arrogant and tyrannical head editor turns out to be his former first love!
Black Torch vol. 2-3
Well, I am all for complete series even though I have not a clue what they are about. It looked cool when I bought volume one so here I am buying vol 2 and 3. Also, it’s only 5 volumes and completed in Japan, and it was cheap. And I am a sucker for bargains.
As a descendant of shinobi, Jirou Azuma has been learning ninja techniques his entire life. But in addition to that, he also has the ability to talk to animals. One day when he rescues a strange black cat named Ragou, he learns that the world is filled with spirits called mononoke that can take the form of both people and animals. However, their meeting is cut short when they are attacked by a hostile mononoke who is after Ragou’s power.
The Promised Neverland vol. 8
I have watched the anime this season. It was okey but in all honesty, I prefer the manga. Maybe because I read the manga before the anime was a fact. I stopped reading after vol. 3 though not to spoil the anime but I think I should just keep on reading after all. Anyway, I think this is gonna be a really long series so I better keep up with the releases.
At Grace Field House, life couldn’t be better for the orphans! Though they have no parents, together with the other kids and a kind “Mama” who cares for them, they form one big, happy family. No child is ever overlooked, especially since they are all adopted by the age of 12. Their daily lives involve rigorous tests, but afterwards, they are allowed to play outside.
There is only one rule they must obey: do not leave the orphanage. But one day, two top-scoring orphans, Emma and Norman, venture past the gate and unearth the horrifying reality behind their entire existence: they are all livestock, and their orphanage is a farm to cultivate food for a mysterious race of demons. With only a few months left to pull off an escape plan, the children must somehow change their predetermined fate.
This is it, there is no more manga. There’s plenty to read so that’s nice. There’s plenty of these that aren’t finished yet so that’s not just as nice. Ugh, someone give me a million dollars so I can buy all the manga in the world. There are so many manga I want. Ah well, one at a time should be doable. Another sad part in this is the fact that the place I usually buy at is situated in UK and we all know what those fuckers are up to; Brexit. Once they leave EU I will have to pay customs for every item I buy from there. So, my cheapest place to buy manga is soon gone. It sucks! Okey, enough whining. I’m gonna go read some nice manga now. Bye for now.
