Well yeah, they were of course not real, living, 3D kind of boys. They are all that perfect kind of 2D. That’s the kind of boys I bought. I said I was gonna make a post about the naughty manga I bought; the boys love manga. Here it is.
Awkward Silence vol. 6
Well, I have the other five volumes and this is the last one of the lot, then it is completed.
Satoru is an introvert with a longtime crush on Keigo, a popular boy on the baseball team. But much to his surprise, Keigo comes up to him and asks him out! Satoru is so overcome he can’t respond. Will Satoru be able to get past his shyness, or will he lose his chance with the boy he loves?
Rin! vol. 1-3
I have a thing for high school boys and archery.
Katsura, a second year in his high school’s archery club, has a hard time controlling his nerves. His “secret weapon” is his brother’s best friend and childhood buddy, Sou! One hug from Sou and Katsura’s nerves are soothed to a peaceful calm. But he can’t keep Sou around him forever. As he wonders how he’ll survive without Sou’s hugs, his friend Kouichi suddenly asks if he can be the one to save him, and kisses him! What now?!
Behind Story vol. 1-3
I read this manhwa a long time ago and sort of remember it to be good. I like the art in it and I have a new found love for Korean comics so yeah, it was a given.
After Johann survives a vicious murder-suicide attempt by his own division teacher, his school sex scandal explodes into a national uproar. To Taehee’s anguish, Johann disappears for 3 years. Both boys grow into men and live separate lives. Taehee works in a night club alongside the flirty bartender Jungin. Meanwhile, the lonely Johann lies low. One day, Taehee and Johann catch a glimpse of each other. But, Taehee’s jealous friend Dooyong will do anything to keep the two men apart.
Colorful cover. There, I said it. Also, cute, dangerous guys on the cover. I rarely, if ever, google reviews of manga (or anime as you might have figured out by my previous complains about not being able to read post on my favorite blogs) and this is no exception. However, I have read several posts on Twitter and in comments about this manga and of course I am curious. It is said to be good. And, I do like the mangaka Psyche Delico a lot so I doubt it would be a complete fail.
A protective sister tries to stop a group of homophobes from harassing her gay brother. Little does she know that the object of her brother’s affections is none other than their leader! Meanwhile, slick young student Kanome finds his crush studying in the library with no one else around and he decides that now is his moment. All he has to do is say the right words to score a little bit of action. Another teenager named Minori anguishes over whether to reveal his lifestyle to his family. He decides no one is ready for that, but his sister jumps the gun and outs him at the dinner table. Will the family be able to accept him or has Minori forever torn his family apart?
Rock stars. I love rock stars. Especially rock stars that trashes their friendship. It sounds like a lot of drama and I like drama. The right kind of drama.
Forbidden love has a way of intertwining itself with destiny. Nick and Billy share a dream to become rock stars, but the dream comes crashing down the night Nick steals Billy’s guitar and life savings to pay off a debt. The crime breaks down the barrier of friendship between the two boys, revealing a far deeper level of connection than either was willing to admit. However, other members of the band grow tired of Nick’s free-thinking and careless ways. They want the “hippie” out of the band, leaving Billy faced with a heart-wrenching decision. He can either sacrifice his music, a career into which he’s invested countless hours of sweat and blood. Or he can sacrifice the boy who stole his heart long ago…
Finder Deluxe Edition: In Captivity vol. 4 and The Naked Truth vol. 5
It’s Finder. It’s Asami and Takaba. It’s a joy for every fujoshi I suppose. It’s a must in my boys love book shelf.
Impetuous photographer Akihito Takaba finds himself in trouble again! After pursuing crime boss Fei Long, he’s captured and spirited away to Hong Kong, but not before Asami takes a few bullets during a failed rescue attempt. Now all that despondent Akihito can think of is whether or not his lover is alive, and if so, are Asami’s feelings strong enough to attempt yet another rescue?
The Naked Truth:
Crime boss Ryuichi Asami puts everything on the line to save his lover, Akihito Takaba, from the hands of his enemy. Unfortunately for them, Fei Long has grown quite fond of his captive. Meanwhile, Russian mafioso Mikhail Arbatov takes advantage of the situation to plot something devious. When three of the underworld’s biggest crime bosses clash, will Akihito be the one caught in the cross fire?
Let Dai vol. 1-15
Oh dear, how I love this manhwa. It is so precious to me. I couldn’t stop reading it when I first found it years ago on the internet, before I knew it was licensed. When I found it for sale at my go to dealer I giggled of happiness. Not for long though. You who have followed me for a little while might have read my post about how impossible it was to find volume 3. Well, I e-mailed the publisher and they were kind and checked their warehouse and found a little stash laying around (I am convinced it was one of their own exemplar). So, all the way from South Korea they came flying. Unfortunately the package was dripping wet. Fortunately they had packed it reasonably well in that bubble wrap plastic thingie so only one volume was a little water damaged. Anyway, I love Dai, even though he is completely crazy and violent, and Jaehee. They are the cutest couple ever.
Is this desire for freedom the very thing that entrapped us.
Let Dai is a tragic tale of forbidden love and unforgivable betrayal.
Set in a soulless neo-Seoul ruled by young punks and pleasure seekers, an amoral teenager named Dai is the living embodiment of the city’s beauty and cruelty.
As the leader of the vicious Furies gang, Dai seduces everyone who lays eyes on him, only to blind them to his own barbaric nature. When an honest schoolboy named Jaehee rescues a beautiful girl from being mugged by the Furies, he can’t possibly realize how this brief encounter will plunge him into a downward spiral of unbridled passion and unfathomable pain.
From his brutal gang initiation to an unspeakable act committed against his girlfriend, Jaehee wavers uncomfortably between revulsion and fascination. And in Dai he finds a tender, caring friend one moment and a heartless sociopath the next, awakening strange and unhealthy desires in Jaehee that he could never before have imagined.
That would be it for now. I do get some nice tax return soon hopefully so there might be some more manga coming this way. I found Right Stuf Anime the other day but I am unsure of if I dare to shop there. First of all, it’s not a store situated in EU, so customs is an issue and second of all, I found a bunch of bad reviews. So yeah, idk. They had a lot of good stuff though, things that are impossible to find at my regular places to shop. So, if anyone has any experience with them feel free to tell me in the comments. Or if you have any good suggestions of internet stores other than Book Depository. I am kind of tired of their long delivery. Some books take forever to get.
