And Then Came Another One – The Liebster Award

I am not sure what I have done to deserve this but, thank you KingDylBagblog. Go check Dylan out, he is awesome. His blog is a mix of manga, anime and his own art. It’s just super great. Also, he’s nice. 😊

  1. Display Award (there was no pic so I am not sure what to display?)
  2. Thank the person who nominated you, andΒ post a link to their blog on your blog. Try to include a little promotion for the person who nominated you.
  3. Answer the 11 questions they’ve written for you.
  4. Nominate 5 – 11 bloggers.

The questions then:

1. If you could speak another language which would it be?

Japanese, hands down. It would be so awesome to be able to read all that manga that haven’t been licensed to English (I am watching you Beel. Also, why the fuck don’t you want to license your work Miyuki Abe??). Not to mention I didn’t have to rely on fansubs when watching anime.

2. Favourite food?

Can’t I just answer food? No? Well, I don’t know. I love a lot of different food. If I have to answer anything it would have to be some sort of meat stew. Preferably something that have been puttering away on the stove for hours.

3. Favourite book?

Something from the Discworld series by Terry Pratchet (probably Small Gods) or Neil Gaiman’s American Gods (and Anansie Boys) That was more than one but what can I say, I love to read. I can give you more if you want…

4. Favourite movie?

I don’t like the word favorite (and you know that Dylan!!). I think it might be Mr Nobody. Or perhaps something Hitchcock. I have a weakness for Rope. Apocalypse Now. Everything Kubrick. Oh, you said favorit. Sorry, I’m gonna stop now.

5. What skill would you like to master?

Knitting. I would like to knit a hat. It would be neat to be able to knit a hat to anyone who wished they had a hat handmade by me. Oh, and socks. Imagine all the cool socks you could knit. Rainbow socks. I would knit so many rainbow socks I could bathe in them.

6. What pets did you have rowing up?

When I was a a little kid we had a dog. My dad was a police officer who had the dog, a German Shepard, in his work. After he died we only had fishes.

7. What is the most annoying question you get asked?

How are you feeling? I hate that question because 9 times out of 10 the one who asks me that doesn’t really want to know. So I always answer honestly which is pretty funny because you can see just how uncomfortable the person who asked gets. I am evil that way.

8. Would you rather be rich, famous or both?

None. It would be nice to have enough money to get by and maybe be able to buy stuff and go on a trip now and then but I wouldn’t want to be rich because there are so much shit that comes with money. And famous, hell no, there is even more shit with that.

9. What kind of student were you at school?

Average. I didn’t spend too much time on my school work. I had better things to do. If I had I would probably had As. That didn’t happen.

10. Favourite manga or anime?

Ehm… Beelzebub. Go figure. As an anime that is. I still haven’t read the manga. As for manga; well, I read so much manga I don’t think I have a favorite. The latest one I read was “I hear the sunspot” and that is a very good manga.

11. Favourite app?

App?! Jeez, if I tell the world this you are just gonna think I am one strange… wait, I am a freak anyway. Fine, it’s “Building up my virgin boy”. It’s an otome dating game. Okey, now you can judge me. I can take it, it’s okey. *this is when she loses all her followers in one big swoop*

Oh, that was all? I hope you are satisfied with my answers. 😎

Okey, now for my questions. I have shamelessly stolen them from internet. I thought they were funny. You can find them here, along with other funny questions.

  1. What would be much better if you could just change the color of it?
  2. When was the last time you screamed at the top of your lungs?
  3. What was the weirdest conversation you have overheard?
  4. What do you dislike but have no good reason for disliking?
  5. What ice-cream flavor is absolutely disgusting?
  6. What food would be the best to make a house out of?
  7. What’s the worst you’ve seen someone screw up on social media?
  8. What is the ugliest thing you own?
  9. What view would you most like to have out of your window?
  10. What’s the worst thing a person can do that isn’t illegal?
  11. Where’s the weirdest place you’ve found something that you lost?

And the nominees are…Β  (You might already have this award, I might already have nominated you for something else, you might be flooded with awards and don’t have time to deal with it… it’s okay, just see this as a token from me that I love you and your blog.)

  1. Congratulations! Knitting is a strange one but I get what you mean, it would always be funny if someone wore a hat you’d made for them or something! But I cannot fathom why anyone would want to just know Japanese by flicking a switch…

When I was younger I used to walk the plank, our family couldn’t afford a dog. (Not really but I wanted to tell you the joke anyway) It’s always sad when a dog (or anyone really) dies, I’ve never had a dog but it was sad when my grandma’s dog died because she was cute and also thought she was a dude which was quite funny.

I’ve got a bit of a dodgy story about that one so I wouldn’t mind if you skipped this thing out of maybe being a bit disturbed.

The dog would not only pee like a male dog but also hump her teddy bear right in front of all of us thinking that it would do something. It was kind of sad because she was old and wanted children but also disturbing. At the time I wasn’t sure what she was trying to accomplish so I would try and yank the teddy bear off her while she was doing it. I don’t think she liked me very much.

Anyway that’s a strange dog story for you, hope you don’t spend too much time thinking about it!

    p.s sorry
Also I see that you’ve got 50 followers now! That’s great! I’m glad more people are finding your blog! I see you going far doing this and you’ll definitely surpass me soon!

    1. I had a dog who humped people. It’s an issue of power. He tried to show who was the boss.

Yeah, it was sad when he died but that’s life with animals. I still remember it even though I only was 4.

Do I understand you correct; you don’t understand how someone would want to be able to speak Japanese just like that?

And thank you! 😊 I got some shout out from some blogs today so I probably gained some followers thanks to that. It’s nice. But surpass you, I don’t know, you are getting more followers by the day. And you have another project in the pocket, right? Now when Eva’s soon over.

      1. Dogs just like humping eh?

Sorry I might not have been clear. I cannot possibly FATHOM, AT ALL, why anyone would EVER want to speak JAPANESE INSTANTLY!

If nothing else you’re definitely growing faster than I am since it took me 8 months to get to 50, then again I’m not a hermit anymore so our growth might be similar. But shout outs are extremely rare for me, so we’ll see.

The new project is a huge risk, a really massive one at that, so I’m not sure if it’s as good as you think. It’ll start in March, I want to do normal content in Feb so people remember what I normally write about!

Yeah Eva’s coming to a close as well, sad times.

      2. Some dogs do, yes. Well, as I said, it is a matter of showing who’s boss. My dog humped one of my then boyfriends 11 year old niece because he wanted to show her that he was higher in rank than her. (her leg) Since she couldn’t handle him and tell him off and we had to do it he always felt that he was higher in rank than her.

Yeah, but you were, as you say and have said before, not active in the community until recently so it’s not strange if it took time. I mean, look how fast you got to 100 when you did become more active. So I’m not sure I will outgrow you at all. And you are getting the awards, they are a great way to get followers.

I am still looking forward to your project, no matter what it is. Risks are there to be taken. I have one of my own on the way, just for fun. I am not at all sure about this one but hey, one who doesn’t try won’t know if it works, right. Also, I don’t care too much about what others think really, I am doing it for myself. People will probably think I am crazy and maybe even a bit weird.

      3. Yeah that kind of aspect can be funny about dogs. I’m just glad you guys were there to stop the situation getting out of hand! I was also just watching videos of dogs playing the piano on youtube and thought it was pretty funny.

I guess we’ll see about the followers, I’ve not got an award in a while tho, they actually do pretty well for some reason and I’m not sure why.

Thank you for the encouragement! I’m looking forward to this new project!

      4. I did feel very sorry for her but at the same time, everyone around her just laughed at the whole situation so when I came in he was standing up against her hip. Sure it was my dog (and my ex and he was there doing nothing πŸ˜’ ) but still, she was insecure and on the verge of crying and people found it funny. It looks funny I guess. Let me tell you, that stupid dog realised he wasn’t that funny after all and the people realised just how wrong the dog was. Dogs doing funny stuff like playing the piano and such are fun to watch.

Well, awards from people who have a lot of followers are getting attention. Also, I think that if you give them to others, maybe people who doesn’t follow you, they notice you and you earn followers that way. I have gained some followers that way. Not that I meant it that way, I just gave some of the ones I follow, not realising they wasn’t following me. So, it’s always a good idea to give people awards. But give people who doesn’t have a lot of followers awards, they tend to answer the awards. People with a lot of followers get a lot of awards and don’t have time to answer them all. I know people who easily have over 50 awards they haven’t had the time to answer.

      5. aw is sucks that she felt like that.

I would give it to people who don’t follow me but it’s like I’ll start liking and commenting on someone elses posts and they’l follow without that, still it’s happened a few times. I just need to look for new people but it takes time! I also know what you mean, it feels bad when someone doesn’t respond to your nomination!

        Liked by 1 person

      6. I have no clue who has answered my nominations or not, I never check them up once I have given them. I have an awful bad memory (it’s a brain thing and not only the thing people say) so I tend to forget things easily.

I try to search the tag anime every day and find new people and then I follow maybe one each day. That way you can gather new people. But I can’t say that I am that good at comment on peoples posts. I try to like posts I have read at least. It’s hard though because there are so many posts I can’t read because it’s this seasons anime and I plan to watch it when it’s finished. I don’t want to be spoiled.

        Liked by 1 person

      7. Yeah sometimes people make award posts and I completely forget nominating them!

I search that tag too but when you see so much it’s difficult to even try someone out. I’m really hesitant towards following because I only follow if I intend to read what they write, I have to be sure before hand and sometimes it’s hard to tell, and I don’t want to let people down by being a useless follower who does nothing.

        Liked by 1 person

      8. I start to follow people that seem interesting when you look at their writing history but then they might suddenly go all serious and only write reviews and I rarely read reviews, as you know, unless I have seen said anime. So suddenly I sit there and follow someone I never really read. But I rather keep following those people than stop following them. I mean, some day they might write something good, something other than reviews. So, I look at the history more than the present. But it is hard to know who to follow. I tend to follow people who are suggested by those I already follow, like Irina or Karandi.

  2. Haha, great answers.

I thought you would put questions with favourite in them for your most annoying question but I also hate how are you?.

It’s nice to see your blog growing over time and im glad that we’re friends.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Thank you! Well, I’m glad too. 😊

Oh, I could have taken that too, the favorite question. But yeah, that how are you is way more annoying. I can live with the favorite as long as I can cheat and give more answers than one. 😎

      1. I think your questions were good. I mean, I googled my questions and stole them from some page I found. That’s one way of doing things. πŸ˜‚ Other people are much better than me of coming up with questions.

  3. I was just about to ask how you are feeling πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Naw…no worries I would never ask that. But wohooπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰I ofcourse already knew you had this one lined up, but awesome, yet another award that is well deserved, and I really liked reading your answers. No worries I’m not going to unfollow you because of the answer to that last question πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Ooohhhhhh…and look: you have passed 50 followers! Nice, nice 😊😊Onwards to 100! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

    1. I am feeling like a drowning lizard in a freezing lake on a sunny Sunday morning in June. 🦎

You better not unfollow. I need my virgin boy to comfort me. In one of the endings he turns completely yandere on me. He is pretty scary then. 😨

      Liked by 1 person

      1. Well…that’s good, as it is sunday morning now…not the drowning lizard and June part thoughπŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Me unfollow you? Haha…..that has got to be the joke of the century. For that to be happening there has to be a total malfunction over on WordPress…or the third nuclear war must have started (erm….no I guess the first two would have made sure of that already πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚). Also…he does sound scary then 😱😱😱

        Liked by 1 person

      2. Today, I feel like a newly drown, resurrected but severely cooled down, lizard with a cold, lounging about in a sofa so huge it is falling down between the cushions, and disappearing possibly never to be seen again…

Third nuclear war… somehow that reminds me of Metro 33 series by Dmitrij Gluchovskij. I think I, as a lizard, can survive that. Can you human, is the big question.

        Liked by 1 person

      3. Hahahaha: well I really hope that you wont’ be disappearing. That would really make me sad😒😒 But it is sunday…so it’s probably good to be lazy and disappear for a bit in between cushions. I’m doing the same only in bed, disappearing between the covers with a book called Thrawn.
Ohhh…I know of metro 33…Even played a computergame once based on that setting. It was pretty cool.
Erm…..human? Who says I am human? Never said that I was did I? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

        Liked by 1 person

      4. Hm? πŸ€” If you are not a human then you must be a… 🐸 😎

Oh yeah, I started to play that game too. Metro 2033 Last light. I never finished it though, something else came in between and I sort of forgot. But it is a really cool game and I really like that world.

Nah, I haven’t planned on disappearing anytime soon. 😎

        Liked by 1 person

      5. Lol… guessed my secret πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Metro 2033 Last Light I have never played. I played the original that was released on Xbox. Also a game I never completed and now never will as I have sold nearly all my computer games 😊
Phew…glad to hear that. That would really suck otherwise πŸ˜€

  4. Congrats! I hate “how are you feeling” too, but I think “what’s up” and “how’s life” are worse variations of it. Especially “how’s life”. Do you expect me to summarize my life in a sentence? What is life???
Anyways, I’m happy to see you with another award ☺ Keep being fantastic~

    1. I know! How’s life? Exactly what kind of a question is that? I don’t get people. Why not just say hi and then if you actually want to know then ask. By know people know that I will answer directly so they rarely ask such stupid questions. 😎

You keep being fantastic too! 😊

  5. I thought nothing could get better then your answers and then I saw the questions. I am so excited to get to answer these.

Your rich and famous answer was my favorite, practical and true but funny. I hope to see many more rewards here, because your reward posts are a blast. Not that your other posts aren’t, they are a blast too.
