Oh, sharing stuff about myself. I am not a very secretive person, I like to share stuff about myself. So, here goes.

1. When I was 20 I moved away from home. That doesn’t really sound strange right? Well, I did it while my parents were on vacation. They were gone for ten days and by the time they got home I had cleaned my room out and move to the next city and into a friends apartment. When they left we hadn’t even talked about moving in together or had a contract for an apartment. Needless to sat my parents weren’t that happy when they came home. After that I have moved 19 times. I am a restless soul. The longest I have actually lived in one place is 3 years.

2. I like cats. My first cat I got because my then boyfriend cheated on me. Apparently it was some sort of token that he loved me. I dumped the guy and kept the cat. The next cat I got was a comfort from the boyfriend after the dumped boyfriend for a dog we had to give up. I dumped that boy friend and kept the cat. Then came the third cat, a companion to the first cat when the second cat tragically fell ill in a kidney disease and died. She was a scrawny, cross eyed Devon Rex. A star of her own that loved to talk. She and the old cat both died last fall. The old cat 16 years old and the little one only 6 years old from a heart disease. Now we have a psycho cat. His name is Noiz (yes, that Noiz. The hot one in DRAMAtical Murder.) I regret naming him that. He is a really evil cat, attacking me constantly, biting me and scratching me. I just should have called him something like, idk, something more evil. Like Lukas maybe. Long post about cats. Sorry, I like cats.

3. I am happy that they use the metric system in Japan. I suck at inches and farenheitΒ  and pound and stuff. Since I want to know just how tall people are compared to me I have to pause and calculate it. I know, it’s stupid but I am stupid that way. (it goes for the other measurements as well.)

4. My first car was a Renault 19. A complete death trap. I loved it to bits but the only reason I bought it was because a boy I was in love with also had a R19 (although his was a sports version and mine was a regular on). I still miss the car. Him, not so much. He was a pretentious asshole.

5. I am an environmental engineer. I don’t work as it though. But I have a paper telling me that I have studied for four years to become one. I have studied two years mathematics in the university (half a year as part of the engineer program). I have no idea why though, I am not even good at mathematics. I thought I wanted to be a teacher when I finished high school so I started to study to that for a year and a half. That wasn’t really my dream after all. Life lesson kids; think before deciding. Don’t just jump into something before really feeling what you want to do. And, don’t listen to others, decide for yourself.

6. I listen to a lot of music. Like all the time, everywhere. I can’t take a shower without listening to music. I don’t have a favorite genre, I listen to all sorts of music. If I like it I listen to it. Just this second I listen to Gorillaz, before, when I did laundry I listened to Okiayu Ryoutarou. I do have some particular favorites: Nine Inch Nails (because Trent Reznor is absolutely amazing), My Chemical Romance, Bastille, Kishi Bashi, Someya Shun (that piano. Also, he does a brief guest roll in Marginal Prince as himself. Me like.) Okyau Ryoutarou, Linkin Park (all of their records, not just their early work.), Thirty Seconds To Mars. Well, I can keep going but I won’t. I very rarely listen to female singers. Not sure why, but I prefer male voices.

I actually made an AMV (the only one that f*cking page didn’t steal because it is unlisted) with one of my favorite NIN songs and EVIL OR LIVE (yes, I know everyone hates that anime, but I think the video turned out quite alright.)

7. I love books. I read a lot. Lately mostly manga, I should admit that, but also regular books. My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The Discworld Books are my favorite series of books. I can reread them over and over and never get tired. I was afraid that the TV adaptation of American Gods would be a disaster but it turned out so very amazingly awesome. Oh boy, Shadow is just as hot as he is in my mind when I read the book. Not to mention Wednesday. And Peter Stormare as Czernobog, it’s just a match made in heaven. Anyway, this wasn’t supposed to be a review. What I wanted to say was, I love books. American Gods might be my favorite Neil Gaiman. That or Anansie Boys.

Well, guys, that’s it. Completely useless information about me. Nominees then:

  1. Well, Moyatori isn’t the only one: I also think your blog is lovely: in other words you really deserve this award: congratulations! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ See, told ya, the awards just keep coming πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
So I’m guessing you like cats huh? πŸ˜‚ And wow moving 19 times, that really is a lot. You weren’t kidding when saying you are a restless soul. But I think that’s pretty awesome.
Anyways: really enjoyed reading your posts: here’s to many more awards! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

    1. Wow, thank you!! ❀ I like cats more than I like stupid guys. πŸ˜‰ Yeah, I have moved way too many times, I can admit to that. But somehow it is refreshing to move. It is a bother too and people around me get very cautious the minute I start to talk about how nice it would be if I had another bathroom or what if we could have this and that. No one but me wants to move. Hehe. well, I have promised to stay here for a while now. I can at least try to beat my old record. I like this apartment.

I am very happy about my two awards. They mean a lot. So cheers to awards! (I have no idea how to make smileys on the computer. πŸ˜› )

  2. Nice! That AMV actually made me interested to see what happens at the end of the show, you really did a good job at making this bad anime look pretty decent! I like cats and some dogs but I don’t know if I would want them over the responsibility of doing everything for them. Cats are a lot more independent I think so I’m more likely to choose that, on the street cats come up to me but run away before I can stroke them, it’s sad. Great post!

I have been nominated before but it really means a lot that you’d nominate me again! Thank you!

    1. Thank you! Well, then I made a good job with it. πŸ˜‰ Hibiki does get some balls in the end which is nice. It takes too long though I think.

Cats are much easier to maintain than dogs. I once had a dog but I had to give him up. He was a bit crazy and really not made for being a house dog. It was an islandic sheep dog and they are really only fitted to herd sheeps. But the breeder was my best friends mom and they needed to get rid of the dog, and neglected to tell me that the dogs mother was a complete psycho dog and he had taken after her. So, I am kind of burnt after that and won’t get a dog too soon again. I prefer cats.

I wanted to show my love. πŸ™‚ I like your blog and you comments very much. It’s always a joy to come here and read what you have written. πŸ˜€

      1. Wow thank you! I feel the exact same way! I like the massive comment chains we tend to have!

Didn’t you say you had a psycho cat now? How bad is a psycho cat compared to a psycho dog? I’d assume the dog would be worse. My mum (who has a very bad hip) got knocked over by my friends grans crazy dog while riding her bike (they just happened to be in the same place at the same time) and I don’t think a cat could do that! It was quite worrying but she was fine in the end!

      2. My dog was more like he needed to herd all the time so he herded me and my parents and my then boyfriend and pretty much every human being and animal close by. He didn’t know how to relax and he was very jumpy. The only one who he wanted to be with was me so he always laid by my feet but as soon as I moved just a tiny bit he reacted and started to move around like a herding dog. If you haven’t seen a dog herd you can see here what it looks like. He acted exactly the same. It’s the same breed as the dog on the video. He sounded exactly the same. https://youtu.be/u66voxIEXpQ
He attacked my mother a few times but nothing too bad. No bites and such. Had she been old he had probably knocked her over. But, he was a constantly stressed out dog who certainly shouldn’t be a dog for company. He moved to a farm after we sold him where he could herd sheeps all he wanted. I think it went well.

Yeah, the psychocat is actually worse than the dog. He bites me so it bleeds. He can see me come and runs as fast as he can and jump up and put his teeth deep in my thigh. He have been running from one end of the room, up on the sofa and up on my head and bitten be on the head. He scratches me every now and then when I walk past him. A while I had bruises all over my legs and arms from his bites. I looked like I was beaten. He is a psycho. And I am the only one he does this too. Not sure why. I have tried everything I can think of but to no avail, he continue to behave like a delinquent.

      3. Yeah I’ve seen sheep being herded and they are surprisingly very good at it! It sounds really bad.

As for your cat, have you tried, um, cooking it? Starvation is another option. In all seriousness every time he bites you what do you do to the cat? If you do something bad e.g kick it then it may stop biting you if it associates biting you with being kicked really hard.

I think this might be terrible advice to someone who likes cats but I just want to help really. Good luck with the cat, it sounds like a nightmare!

      4. If there was a lot to eat on the cat I would love to cook him. 😎 I have tried everything. Right now I just sort of throw him away when I see him coming in full attack. Sometimes I act on instinct and kick him. I spray him with water and it kind of helps but I am not really happy with walking around with a spray bottle. I have tried to be the one to give him food. I play with him to tire him out. I have seriously considered euthanization actually since he is so mean. I told him more than once, not that he understand that. Idk, I can’t come up with anything else.

      5. The cat sounds crazy, glad you’re not just taking it and do retaliate sometimes! That really sucks, it’s sad when a cat doesn’t know it’s place in the world! I’d say (and I hope many others would say) that your life is a whole lot more important than the cats, so if it’s being a serious problem to your well being nobody can really criticize you for euthanization. If you do decide to go through with it you can always blame me for putting the idea in your head for the 2nd time so you don’t have to feel guilty!

      6. Haha, I will so blame you for it. πŸ˜‰ The poor cat is lying here sleeping beside me, looking all cute and innocent. He is awfully cosy when he isn”t attacking be and that makes it so hard to decide what to do. If he had only been completely nuts it would be much easier but he has a sweet side to. Or maybe that’s just a sure sign of just how much of a psychopath he is. πŸ˜›

  3. Congratulations! You really do have quite a lovely blog (despite the name πŸ˜‰). Thank you very much for nominating me and I will get on to that. It should come out today

  4. Cat lovers for the win!

Watched the amv and it was pretty cool. Not the type of show i would watch our the music I would normally listen to, though I’d be lying if i said i never listened to anything like that, but it meshed together well and told a story i could follow.

Congratulations on being lovely! Lovely is such a lovely word to use to describe a lovely person and blog.

    1. Thank you! ❀

I have actually made another version of that video with another song. It's on private at the moment because of those stupid people but I hope I can get the videos up in a short while. I actually sent them a message (on facebook because they don't have any other way to contact them through their homepage. Very serious. πŸ˜› ) and they responded and promised to block my channel so my videos wouldn't be uploaded there. Right now I have one video that is not on private or unlisted as a trial to see what will happen. If they do as they promise the rest of the videos will come back up again.
